So, Ferrett went to the framing shop to pic up the two pieces we had done. Between those and the stained glass, we have a nice collection of Art Acquired While We Thought I Was Employed. The Diterlizzi original and print we had gotten last summer, just hadn't had framed. The stained glass with the Green Man sundial in the center was a wholly new acquisition. If I had known then what I know now, I wouldn't have bought them, but I am glad I didn't know then what I know now. The Diterlizzi original is AMAZING framed, and the faery print he threw in is really nice, too. I am happy to have such cool things on my walls.
Our newest conundrum is "too much of a good thing" syndrome. We must shift everything around now, and hope that when it's all resettled it won't leave too many gaping nail holes exposed to the world. And that it all fits. The room is suddnely feeling very small to me.
But, damn, it's good art!
