Good news!!!

Spoke to Kris this evening. She is feeling much better. Still on the pain meds, but at least feeling like herself again. We may still have to deal with an underlying issue, but at least for now it's not killing her.

Wow, did someone decrease the gravity a few degrees?

(And now, back to your regularly scheduled rants and raves!!!)

Please do! The woods have thinned, but I'm not ready to declare us out of them yet.

I'm so glad to hear that. Last year was my year for family-illness induced fears and worrying and stress, so I have some idea how it must feel for you. I'll keep sending my happy thoughts that way.

Thank you. It is hard to feel at complete ease, since we've seen her go home from the hospital feeling better twice before now, only to have things get dramatically worse, but this seems to be a higher degree of better than before, so I have hope.

I have hope

That's the important thing right there. As long as you can still have hope, you're hanging in there.

Re: Wow, did someone decrease the gravity a few degrees?
Me, too. We are just hoping for the progress to continue unabated, or at least without another horrible relapse.

Very glad to hear it. Here's hoping that she stabilizes for awhile, and also that the disability comes through back in Montana, as it sounds like it'd give her a much-needed break without totally ruining their situation. I'm glad for her and for you.

Yeah, It does seem a bit lighter of late.... I hope that continues for you, too.
