Sean Connery: The Name of the Rose

Re: :)

YES!!!!

Although, my favorite Alan Rickman performance has to be Snape. He is SO marvelous.

Actually, if Alan Rickman had been on the quiz I would have been tempted to say EVERYTHING!!!! Quigley Down Under, Sense and Sensibility, Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves. They're all great!

Re: :)

Alan Rickman is indeed incredible.

"I'm going to carve his heart out with a spoon!"
"Why a spoon?"
"Because it's dull, you idiot, it'll hurt more!"

Sigourney Weaver: Galaxy Quest
Robin Williams: The Bird Cage (such a hard choice!)
Clint Eastwood: The Bridges of Madison County
Mel Gibson: Braveheart
Paul Newman: The Sting
Brad Pitt: Spy Game
Goldie Hawn: Private Benjamin
Audrey Hepburn: My Fair Lady
Diane Keaton: Something's Gotta Give
Halle Berry: X-Men (I guess. I don't really like her)
Kevin Bacon: A Few Good Men
Ewan McGregor: Black Hawk Down
Sean Connery: Finding Forrester, The Hunt for Red October (impossible choice, there are more)
Anthony Hopkins: Bad Company
Jack Nicholson: Terms of Endearment
Harrison Ford: Clear and Present Danger (Only because I refuse to choose between the Indiana Jones and Star Wars movies)
Tom Hanks: Sleepless in Seattle

It's wrong that Robert Redford isn't on this list, but I'm not adding him, because that'd be a harder choice than all the rest.

There were a whole bunch of people who should be on there, including Redford: John Cusack, Ed Norton, Humphrey Bogart, Susan Sarandon and the ubiquitousness of Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep....

And Katharine Hepburn, who would also be a hard choice. Lots more too. Ack, I need to stop thinking.

Have you seen "Something's Gotta Give" yet? I thought I wouldn't like it, and only watched it because it was on my "Oscar" list. I am stunned at how much I enjoyed it. I think I must be their demographic. heh.

Nicholson in everything, huh? I have never really liked him much - he's just kinda creepy. I chose Batman because he was perfect in that slimy sort of role.

You don't know how difficult that meme is.. ^^ I might be bad with names in the way that most people are, but recognizing names of actors/actresses is beyond me completely for some reason. I know Harrison Ford and Sean Connery consistantly. That's about it.. the rest of them, I'd have to look up their name and try to figure out every movie they acted in. Bad with hollywood names, I wonder if that means anything. O_o

But, well...
Harrison Ford: Star Wars (Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi are probably my favorites there.)... it's actually hard to say, though. I also loved the Indy movies, and The Fugitive.
Sean Connery: Hunt for Red October. The book was even better.

That is a good one.

I am a big fan, but from a backwards viewpoint. I started with his really good later work and then could enjoy the spaghetti westerns as kind of camp.
