Sorry I've been so meme-y of late. Just taking it easy. Finished playing the Diablo II expansion last night, not all that high-energy today. A mellow weekend is a good thing. Friday we to game night at the apartment of grailquestion and justbeast. Ferrett and Erin played group Magic: The Gathering, while I sat around with the non-Magic people and yakked. We never actually played a game, but it was nice - kind of a get-to-know you session. Yesterday we went to an art fair out in Chagrin Falls with our buddies Joan and Brent and actually, finally got to see Chagrin Falls, which was pretty. Last night we roleplayed, and today I am planning on doing a little gardening and then we're going to see "The Chronicles of Riddick" with Joan and Brent. All next week is getting booked up. I decided I didn't want to spend weekend days roleplaying since it makes me feel like I haven't managed to accomplish anything, so we are aiming for weekday evenings and, man, there is nothing about this that looks like a regular schedule. But I am liking it better this way. Just feel like I'm using the daylight hours better, even if it's just going to an art fair.

you can't add 'requiem for a dream', it's already on the list!

though if 'memento' had already been on the list, you adding it would have been really funny, because you'd forgotten it was already there...

yes, i am lame.

Yeep, you're right. I looked for it and didn't notice. That's okay, though, it let me edit for the other movie I was debating for my third.

Thanks!

Boondock Saints! That movie is SO awesome. The first time my ex and I watched it I was busy on the computer and only saw a little of it. But then I actually sat down and watched it the next day and I loved it. There's so many good one-liners. And then I finally got my current boyfriend to watch it. He loves it just as much as I do. His favorite line is when Smecker says "Makes me kinda feel like riverdancing" and actually busts out with some riverdancing.

I can't believe they're making a sequel.

It has to be my favorite Willem Dafoe performance. SUCH an underrated movie. A friend showed it to us and we were just wowed.

Ladyhawke is one of my all time favorite movies. Also, Chocolat is whimsical and delightful, and it was in that movie that I first appreciated Johnny Depp. yumm!

It's on my "Groundhog Day" list of movies I really want to see but don't have time.

Grabbed that one and ran with it. Of course I might have missed some movies I've only seen in Kraut without even knowing the original title. For weird and unexplanable reasons, sometimes the studios don't translate the titles but make up totally new ones. One of the worst examples has to be "Once Upon A Time In The West", which in Germany was called "Spiel mir das Lied vom Tod" (literally: "Play the song of death for me").

The images I get of you wandering around a USA Blockbuster reading flover text are highly amusing.
