The time has come, the Walrus said, to talk of many things.

Including the excellent soup that Kat walked into my kitchen and whipped up cold from stuff she found there. No recipe, no idea what she was going to find.

Wow.

Every year Kat gives the most amazing party at Christmas time, their Bread and Soup Party. About 150 people move through their house eating some of the best soups I've ever tasted, all homemade, and beautiful homemade breads. We are fortunate enough to be included at sous chefs for this party, and feel honored at the opportunity.

I am nourished by love.

Happiness.

Your doing great!

I even came over to work to witness you and your husbands last few thoughts of your blog-a-thon. What amazing amount of money you've saved up! Make it across the finish line, and even though you may not be coherant today, you can read through what you posted in the next week. You have done something truely admirable and I hope you feel proud.

Re: Your doing great!

Yes. And numb. I will probably be horrified, rereading some of this.

You have the most amazing friends and family, so much love surrounding all of you. I only wish that lord_keeper and I lived closer so we could be a part of it.

Thank you for letting me share in it vicariously today. {{HUGS}}

Oh .. what a totally cool idea for a party!

I might have to yoink it, but for Samhain, not for Christmas. Since the former is more important in my house than the latter. I usually end up working Christmas. Notso, Samhain. Usually.

Samhein would be a good time for it - pumpkin soup and potato soup, a concentration on the harvest.
