if you're content that's the important part,..
may you be well and happy,..
Hey, it looks good to me!
And a happy Christmas to you all!
Looks pretty good to me. Tis the thought that counts. :)
If you look at the tree's reflection in the tv, by that picture, you can pretend there's one in the opposite corner.
Chuck loves it.
i think i'd have liked it even better if you'd had the greenery on the mantel but not the itsy christmas tree -- if you'd just had the presents under the place where a tree would be if there were a tree, and left the actual tree-ness to the imagination. or something. like the emperor's new
clothes christmas tree, or some sort of arboreal godot.
I tried that first, but it looked way too barren. So the tree was pulled out.
Well, size doesn't matter regarding Christmas Trees...anyway. :)
It's a lovely picture, very festive. :) And I love that icon!
Festive is festive. It looks great. What's that on the wall, though?
I was going to ask the same thing.
I love the candles and garland. I did a 4 foot tree, and that's it. But next year I need to make better use of all my candles.
As I said above, a piece of ceramic art that we purchased two summers ago in An n Arbor at the Art Festival. I didn't bother taking it down, as it is kinda fragile.
A piece of ceramic art that we purchased two summers ago. NOT Christmas related.
We've got the very same tree! Except ours has a little red drum for the base. Neato! I really like the tiny, pre-deocrated tree...just pulled it out of the basement, straightened the branches, put it on my desk in the living room and plugged it in!
Happy When Life is Simple,

Thee is definitely something to be said for simplicity, no doubt about it.
Of course, I'm now sitting in a living room where it looks like a bomb went off. What a mess!
Hey, Casa de Geek doesn't have a tree AT ALL. Just a wreathe that Renthor's grandmother sent to us around Thanksgiving. And we couldn't get any present's under IT because the mantle was already covered in stuffed animals (not really sure I *CAN* explain that one...). But still. Considering that the only two gifts I remember being exchanged this year were alcohol, it all works out.
Still, it looks more than festive enough. Happy Holidays, you crazy West Siders, you!
