Congratulations!!!! This is WONDERFUL! It's such a great feeling, isn't it! :) They'll be falling-off-of-you-huge before you know it! :)
That's fantastic! *Makes mental note to not get rid of too-small clothes just yet - there's always hope...* I'd love to be on your fitness filter, if you don't mind.
You're on now. And thanks!

Re: Aeryn Sun is v yum
By luck I came across some very nice Ralph Lauren slacks I had purchased and never worn that were hanging in my closet. Lucky because I had NO black slacks that still fit and thought I would have to go shopping.
I am enjoying the new clothes. It was hard to figure out what to wear first!
That is great! I have some of my skinny clothes still lurking in my closet, it's my goal to eventually fit back into them. I'd love to be on your fitness filter, if it would be ok. I'm always interested to hear what other people are doing, what works for them, etc.
I have some used skinny clothes left from before, but not many; I wasn't working in a law office back then and so had nothing career appropriate anyway. It was just stupidity that served me well.
You're on the filter now; welcome.
I'd love to be on it. I'm dealing with a lot of body issue stuff so reading about other people can be encouraging & enlightening.
You can put this LJ on it, or the one I specifically use for tracking my workouts, sios_gymdiary
. The latter is nothing but gym numbers, so it's not terribly interesting reading.
I put this one on. It's wonderful to have a support community!
i hope you stay feeling better.......just keep going with you fitness ideas... the wieght will come down at it;s own tmie..... you go girl
Oh, I do so look forward to going through that old suitcase in the closet - the one that holds old faves that I've not been able to wear in a couple of years. Hang in there, lady, you're doing great! :D
I'd like to be on it--I'm on my own weight loss journey thing, and it helps to see fellow travelers :)
You're on now! It is good to share the journey.
I would like to be on your fitness filter, please.
I'd like to be on it too.
I loved your idea of only eating things that are delicious. I'm working on that one while I finish rehabbing the Bionic Knee of Stainless Steely Doom.
Gotcha. And the delicious foods thing saved me from a bag of Cheetos yesterday - they are "yummy," but was that really what I wanted to put in my mouth? I ate an orange instead.
Instant new wardrobe is yay!
By the way, I've been meaning to ask. How is Kristi? Have you guys made the call yet?
Kristi is recovering very nicely, feeling much better. We haven't called yet; I was aiming at Sunday when the rates are lower.
I applaud your efforts, and your success. Way to go!
And now - since you're doing what I *should* be doing, I'd like to be on your fitness filter too, please. Seeing you talk about it may encourage me to become more consistent. (Certainly can't hurt. *g*)

Glad to add you! People have been wonderfully supportive, of me and of each other, on it. Welcome!
I'd like to be on it! Some of my friends are doing that as well - maybe I will join y'all.
I'd like to be on the fitness filter. And congrats on the new wardrobe!
I just friended you (I'm demetria23
's friend)...I read her friends page also sometimes, and your entries are always interesting. Can I be on your fitness filter? I'm trying to keep up with a new workout program, and it's always nice to hear about other's successes!
No problem. You are added!
I would love to be on the fitness filter! I'm trying to make a more healthy/financially possible lifestyle into habit (routine exercise, cooking all of my meals rather than eating out every meal).
I'm glad your success was rewarded with a nice, new wardrobe!
You are added! It's great to read about other's journeys as well - we all influence each other.
*grin* Could I be added to the fitness filter, please? I meant to say at the time but forgot. Bad me.
Hope you're feeling better soon and yay, that's great about the clothes!
No! Only one chance! No soup for you!
I would love to be on the fitness filter - it's always encouraging to know other people are going through similar things with diet and exercise. It also helps me not strangle the teenage boys in my house, with their 6000 cal/day metabolisms...
Yeah, I am experiencing that teenage boy thing for the first time as an adult, now that my nephew is living with us. It's kinda scary!
Oooo! 2 lbs from doing nothing for the day. That's a nice feeling. Don't you wish it always worked that way?
I know we traded comments a while back about some weight loss methods. I am using myfooddiary.com
and I've lost 18 lbs in six weeks! So I totally feel you on the excitement of the shedding of the pounds. :) I've fallen off the exercise wagon this week though!
For the record, I am most certainly interested in your weight loss journey, but you don't know me at all really, so I would completely understand you not being comfortable sharing that with someone you don't know.
Oh, I don't mind putting you on at all! I just don't want to bore people who aren't interested.
I've used FitPlan
since the beginning of the year and have lost 35-1/2 pounds. So I have no room to be complaining! (I still do on occasion, however!) Having a group with which to share has been very rewarding.
I would like to be on your fitness filter!
You're from Eugene! I went to college there around the time that you were born.
You're on. A lot of people on it are working on the same things. Good luck, and welcome!
Add me too, please. :-) I've gotten a scrip for Xenical and am joining Curves as an Easter gift to myself. Counting carbs and exercising is what I am starting out with, since I have to count carbs for my daughter's meals I'm used to it and it's easy.
This is gonna be great.
Congrats sweety, you earned it :D
*raises glass of ginger ale* Heres to another new wardrobe by christmas :D
