I read your first answer and thought...are we Twins Separated At Birth?
Then I read your second answer and I knew we were. Oh, yeah, bigtime. Patrick Swayze! Dirty Dancing! "I think this is the begining of a beautiful friendship!"
Let's kill Adam Sandler AND Mike Myers.
2. You get to completely destroy and remove one movie from existence. Which one do you pick?
SO easy. Eyes Wide Shut, a movie that left me both bored out of my skull and apoplectic. Your wife has a 10 minute fantasy about another man and you go apeshit? Dude, you need a serious slap in the face and three hours of Jerry Springer as a reality check.
I liked the first ten minutes of the film, but then, after seeing that absurb fight scene, I turned to my spousal unit, and exclaimed: "Stanley Kubrick died for THIS?"
My Beau made me watch Support Your Local Sherriff- I nearly peed my pants I was laughing so much, and I never do that.
James Garner. Harry Morgan. What's not to love?
*thinks* Uh... umm... hold on... I'll come up with something... uh... hmm..
Initially I was a bit concerned with the young lady who kept making a fool of herself- but it was handled well and I laughed!
16. I am so with you. EEW.
Eyes Wide Shut, a movie that left me both bored out of my skull and apoplectic.
OMFG!!!! Tom Cruisze and Nickolle Kidmann have sex!! OMFG!!!111!!!
What...that isn't enough to put your butt in the seat and watch the movie? [g]
Never saw the film, and have no intention of ever watching it. Ever.
The end of Star Wars is hard to beat. Heroism, victory, celebration. You feel good.
Unless you're Chewie and get the shaft at the end. Wot, no medal? He's probably the one who convinced Han "I won't shoot someone unless they shoot at me first" Solo to go back and help the farm boy, for Cliff's sake.
Hell, they probably evan gave that pussy Wedge a medal. All Chewie gets to do is growl "yo, where's mine??" at the end. It made me sad. And angry. Grrr to all the Wookie haters in the Alliance. And ROTS makes the omission even worse - he saved Yoda's green ass.
Luke Skywalker. Laugh at me if you will.
"Is this thing on?"
On the serious side, though - got to agree with you. Especially Luke of ANH/ESB, when he still had some chance of scoring with Leia.
Probably Mike Myers.
Mike Myers is tolerable provided he has someone else there (Dana Carvey) to keep him in check. When he doesn't...well...we get wastes of celluloid like Goldmember.
Support Your Local Sheriff rocks.
"He stuck his finger in your WHAT?"
The movie I would rate as the funniest is A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. It's not side splitting funny but it's still got it all there.

Re: Funniest Movie
Oh, I forgot. I also thought of a question.
"What movie haven't you seen for a while and worry that it won't live up to the memories you have of it?"
For me, that would be Drop Dead Fred. I mostly mention this so I will go a watch it now, sometime soon...
after reading your movie entries it's apparent to me that I could never watch anything with you but Star Wars, but I'm ok with that ;)
I loved Patrick Swayze in To Wong Fu. I'm doing this meme tonight. My answer to #12
will be unpopular among my Friends List.
Oh, man Lauren Bacall - you know she's good when she knocks Bogie on his ass with her delivery of that line.
*re-orders her Netflix queue*
The Princess Bride? I never saw that. It's that good?
You need to see it. Yes, it is.
I'll definitely put it on my "must see" list.
WATCH IT! Is funny, is sweet, has Cary Elwes... :)
Wow...quite an endorsement--from you and zoethe
! I will definitely see it.
Okay... that's good. Andre the Giant is in the movie and he apparently said that his role was one of things he was most proud of doing in his life. Oh AND Mandy P. :)
WSe are loving Mandy P. in Dead Like Me. Working our way through the second season, which isn't nearly as good as the first, but it will still be hard to when we have no more new ones to watch.
He's wonderful. :) I'm still on Season 1 of Dead Like Me- most of which I saw when it first aired. I'd heard the second season wasn't as good, but I'll likely get around to watching it- if only for the Mandy P. :)
He'll just have to work on a new show- that's all there is to it. ;)
It's sounding better and better. Definitely a keeper and on the list to watch real soon.
"You know how to whistle, Steve, don't you? You just put your lips together and - blow."
Correcting my quoting, eh? You're right, though. The original is vastly better.
I cried so hard during 'The Green Mile' that I was asked to leave the theater. I agree 100% with your answer to that question!
Asked to leave? Wow. I'm glad I saw it at home.
I honestly don't know what came over me. I've never had that kind of reaction to anything before ... must have just hit me at a bad time. *shrug*
