[Current Mood |flirtystar struck]

Because I'm bored today and waiting for phone calls, here's the most recent version of the top-grossing movies of all time. Bold the ones you've seen, and strike out the ones you HATE.

(Yeah, I didn't strike out the new Star Wars trilogy. I can't quite bring myself to HATING it. It's disappointing, but dude, it's Star Wars.)

(Interesting note: of the top-grossing 50 movies, George Lucas was involved in 7 of them, and Harrison Ford and Stephen Spielberg in 4. But there are lots of people tied for 3rd with 3 and a scad of people who have at least two projects on the top 50. The pinnacle in Hollywood's a pretty small place.)

(Interesting, too, how many of the movies are "franchise properties" with at least one sequel: like 30 of them! No wonder Hollywood likes to find formulas and stick to them.)

How is it possible you've never seen How the Grinch Stole Christmas? That's like having some how avoided seeing Wizard of Oz or The Charlie Brown Christmas Special.

No offense taken...I can tell you the first line if you like :P

I almost had to kill my accompanist and good friend because he stole the book out of my hands and threatened to read me the last line.

The fool opened it up and read the last line of the appendix.

Not necessarily love. Just not HATE. I reserve hate for movies I really, really dislike.

You hated Pirates? And Shrek?! Wow, you are tough.

Lost World was the sequel to Jurassic Park. Came out in 1997.
