It's Wednesday. I have not accomplished 1/10th of what I wanted to get done for school over Spring Break. Must knuckle down tonight and the rest of the week - of course, have plans for the weekend so limited knuckling there.
I have, however, had a good break and enjoyed it, so that counts for something.
Went to the movies last night for a final watching of LOTR:Two Towers before it disappears from the big screen. Still very good, still exciting, but after the extended version of FOTR it seems to lack...heart. Those character moments that round out the movie and make me really care about the Fellowship as people. No fault of Jackson's - this is a middle movie, and basically about schlepping people around Middle Earth, and he managed to make it very good despite those limitations.
I just hope the third one doesn't lose the people in trying to tell the story. There's a lot of ground to cover.
(And the flippy thing is still really cool!)

You and that dirty, sweaty, smirking Aragorn--MMm! ;)
Heh, I'll give you the same orders I have the Doctor on HIS spring break: Damnit, REST already! "Break", the word is "break"--put on the academic calendar so you do NOT.
*chuckle* You know, I alway remember spring as the hardest and most depressing of semesters. I was a fall girl, that's when I had most of my energy and get-go. Given your perseverance in matters, I am sure you will do fabulously.
How are you feeling, shoulder wise? *hug*
Myself, I liked TTT. I thought there was emotion in it, one of my favorites being when Theoden mourns the loss of his son.
Oh and yes--the flippy thing was very cool. :)
Much eye candy in that film.
I can't wait til Dec!
Lys-just not a spring girl.

liking it, just finding myself deciding that I am with juggernt
in thinking that FOTR will remain the subject of obsessive viewing while TTT will not.
Oh, and I noted this time that Legolas' braids are done herringbone style instead of traditional three-strand braid. Very cool.
VERY geeky... [g]
*stares at the elf...stares at the elf*
My favorite! *sigh*
As Jim keeps telling me: relax, it's your break!
