o/~ June is bustin' out all over… o/~
My workplace has had at least 20 babies born within the past year. We've got a little over 300 employees.
Hey, rub some of that on me!
Yeah, I have a couple other friends who are lookin' for a little of that magic. Wish I could bottle it - I'd make a forture!
Due in October, I'm guessing I'm not one of the "three acquaintances in Ohio"
No! Now I can add you to the list! I didn't count people I know through LJ only! Wow!!!
Goodness! Well, I'm not! :)
Soon, you and I will be all alone.... ;-)
I'm firmly in the non-pregnant camp!
but stay the heck away from me until this is over....
[gasps in horror at the thought]
I haven't been close to any of them! It's not me, really!
We've had a flood of babies at work lately. Most of the crop is in the six-month-and-up age now, with just one still pregnant we know of. But we had at least six people pregnant at once!
The statement, "A bountiful baby harvest," amused me in all the wrong ways. Made me think of migrant workers in a cabbage patch, handing off dirt covered infants to storks. Yeah....My brain is a strange place.
Blame it on the weather.
Well thats what I say and for the record, it was mighty cold that night that we concieved Meghan.....
But...that bottle of pinot noir and James Bond movie might have had something to do with it as well.....
I have a few friends and coworkers who are all due either in august, september or october. I say that christmas presents were being given and this is the payback.

I just became a Grand-aunt
About three days ago in fact, my nephew became a Daddy.

Re: I just became a Grand-aunt
Haha, well, I am not pregnant... YET. Good for Erin going back to school, by the way... I think that's wonderful. :)
I know quite a few pregnant women myself now... I'm 25, at that "age" when my friends are starting to have families. We've pretty much passed the wedding stage and we've moved on to what comes after. Even the bloggers I read (amalah.com, sundrymourning.com, wordsforsnow.org) all have babies!
We're not planning on anything for a couple years yet, but there are plenty around now for me to get an idea of what I'm in for.
I did see something on the news however that they're saying 2004-2006 may be ushering in a new baby boom -- so apparently it's not all our imagination. It really IS raining babies.
Wow, not just coincidence. Wonder why all of a sudden? Still, babies!
We're pretty sure Amy is pregnant.

Positively the BEST baby care products in the world. I, as a confirmed Skin Care Whore, am IN LOVE with their lotion. It is tied for my most favorite I've ever used in my life.
It's good for grownups, too. :)
Wow, looks like great stuff!
I had always heard the expression "it smells intoxicating"...but I didn't know what it meant. Then my friend Amanda bought me some of the baby lotion for my birthday...and I was BLOWN AWAY at how it smelled. It doesn't smell like most baby products, though if you know that it is for babies, you can understand it. It has a very light smell, but it is very rich and heady and......*sigh*
There IS somthing in the water! There are about 40 women in my department and 6 of us are due between August and December.
So, it's not just you :)
I know. I wonder what's up with that. What's the average age of the women you know that are pregnant? We're all having our first and the range is 24-37.
My wife delivers tomorrow, and my boss's wife delivers in September.
Congratulations to you! There's apparently an LJ baby boom as well!
All the flooding and raining babies imagery is making me want to run through the streets carrying a wicker basket...
Or a pack of birth control pills. :D
LOL! Hooray new baby boom.
All of my female first cousins on my dad's side are pregnant, and they're all due between now and September.
There are only three of them, but still.
Since then, I have learned of yet another pregnancy, this one at work. Craziness!
