While I don't agree with his overall assessment, the Ask a Ninja review of Pirates of the Carribean; Dead Man's Chest is hysterical, and he does have a point or two.

Go watch, and giggle.

Favorite line: It was like a Never Ending Story, but without a luck dragon.

Is it safe if I haven't seen the movie yet? I really want to check it out. :)

No spoilers, but a perspective change that might dampen your enjoyment a little. Definitely safe, if you don't mind that. Better once you've seen the movie.

They played that on NPR last week; I loved it. Any ninja that references the NeverEnding story is awesome. And reading the comments here, a lot of people like the neverending story, or luck dragons.

I liked PotC2. This review is funny however. And your right, some of his points are astoundingly funny- but PotC2 was the first movie sequal that I enjoyed all the way through in a long time. (I liked it better than any of the the fresh set of Starwars- for example.)

I mean it's Hollywood! What do people expect right? Right. *nods*

I loved the movie, but the review still cracks me up.

Oh, that was brilliant! Love the description of Keira Knightly: "Like a slightly more manly Orlando Bloom."

Go for it - be sure to credit newsong as the creator, though :)

"If you're not familiar with Keira Knightley, she's like a more masculine Orlando Bloom"? (Since everyone quoted the Neverending Story line already, I thought I'd comment on my 2nd favorite). Maybe I'll just wait and go see Clerks 2 after all.

Naw, it was fun. He's very funny, but I don't agree with his assessment of the film.
