|How 'bout I just mock you instead?

Got this email yesterday:
I had a look at your site. http://zoethe.livejournal.com/
I'd like to pay you $40 to link to my unique hotel site and leave it up for at least a year. My site covers independent hotels, b&bs, hostels, campgrounds and basically any type of accommodation that would be left out of most travel sites. You could link to the Cleveland page so it would be very relevant to your site. Please let me know what you think.
Have a great day!
Wow. For the princely sum of $40, I can have the pleasure of subjecting my readers to your spam, plus whatever weird traffic it might attract! Gee, that'll pay down my student loans!
The email address is from gmail, and the poster did not bother including a link to his "unique hotel site" for me to check it out. I suspect he's spam-botting website names and I.P. locations to fill in the blanks on his little "Hi!" form. Yeah, I'm gonna email him back, taking his $40 bait, and undoubtedly find that all I've accomplished is confirming that I'm a "live one." Spam cascade, here we come!
Or maybe instead, I'll just turn him into gmail so they can close down his account.
I hate spammers.
