? 4 MY SMRT FRNDS [Dec. 3rd, 2006|09:04 pm]

[Current Mood |confusedbaffled]

Driving back from Kat and Eric's today, Ferrett and I saw a license plate that has the two of us baffled. We feel like we should be able to figure it out, but it's beyond us. It read:

GOD7 N SU

We figure that the first is "God's Heaven" but the rest has us baffled.

If it read

GOD7 S NU

that would clearly be "God's Heaven Is In You."

But it didn't.

Any ideas? Other than "the guy screwed up his own license plate"? Because, while that is a real possibility, I'm hoping that it's wrong.

I keep wanting to make it be about God creating the world in seven days and taking Sunday off, but I just can't make it be about that, and why would you put that on a license plate unless you were a lobbyist for the reinstatement of blue laws?

My only other thought at the moment is that it (the plate and/or the vehicle) was a gift for someone named Sue, from someone who loves her very much.

Or, there's some college ball team abbreviated SU.

And just as I'm about to hit submit, I would like to buy a vowel to make it closer to, "God's heave is enough." but it's just not.

Now a riddle for you... why can't I sleep? I'm tired. Is it a change-o-life thing, because I will end up killing someone if I don't get some sleep.

/rant sorry

You Buckeyes must have read it wrong. I bet it said:

"God's Heaven MSU"

That would be funnier if the Buckeyes gave a rat's ass about Michigan State. The perennial rivalry, however, is between OSU and U of M. ;-)

Except you are looking at the wrong one. You're putting the S in the middle, which would make better sense.

Maybe the car actually belongs to Sue, or someone who really loves Sue, and thus it's "God's heaven in Sue".

Wait, what if the first substring is "God's even...", not "God's heaven..."? Then it could be "God's even in Sue", which is either inspirational or nasty, depending. Maybe "God's even an issue"? Or, if they're mixing English and Spanish, "God's even in you"?
