OMG so sick. I've had several colds this winter, but they were minor league players. This one is a Casey Stengel straight to the face.
Honestly, the last time I felt like this, I had pneumonia. I don't think it's that far gone, but I keep kind of gasping for air. Of course there were fun things to do today, and I wanted to get an hour in working on the yard, but a hot, steamy soak in the tub did nothing to loosen this up. When I sneeze, my ears pop; a little sinus pressure, ya think?
Trying to brain. Can't haz. Must fall over now.
Awwww.... d'you need me to bring over anything? Soup, etc.? Will be heading over towards your neck of the woods soon.
Thanks; that's sweet, but I think I'm just going to try and sleep it off. I don't want to expose anyone to me.

you know dis - slam the liquids, especially the hot noncaffeinated. Couple liters a day is one of the only things that helped me survive the last one.
You might want to go and get it checked out (esp. since if it gets worse tomorrow you'll have a hard time finding a doctor). I'm just getting through a beaut myself. Last week I suddenly started running a fever with no other symptoms! Next day it was fever followed by chills, etc, still no other symptoms! Luckily, I mentioned it to someone at the drugstore and they warned me of a pneumonia going around that started this way! The doctor diagnosed bacterial pneumonia and I started on antibiotics- the next day, the coughing started!! Now, with my lungs 'primed', the pollen in the air is just enough to get my asthma going!
You have my sympathy. :( My sister came to visit & brought her kids, one of whom had 'allergies' that included a stuffy nose & cough... which magically cleared up in a couple days even though the pollen count is as high as ever. Jay and I are currently recovering from those 'allergies', heh.
:( I'm so sorry you're sick again. This has been a miserable winter/early spring for it.
When my nose is that gacked up, I use a neti pot with warm distilled water, salt, and baking soda. It helps when the hot steamy shower doesn't.
Had much sleep, definitely not as dead as yesterday. It's moved out of my face and into my chest. Hacking coughs are such fun.
Ignore this reply. It isn't here. You can't see it. It is merely a trick of the cough medicine.
