Oh Gd, that's terrible! Hope you feel better soon!
*Hugs.* Feel better soon!
Hope you get it all out soon. :(
It's the tomatoes!
PS. not really
In true SS Botany Bay style, it might have been the strawberries....
It doesn't really make it worse that there is no one here with me - I certainly would not keep Ferrett up in the night to keep me company. But it is lonelier.
Just knowing somebody is in the house with you, even if they're not in the same room or even awake can make a huge difference to one's mental state. My cat was very much like that: once her family got home, it was like she felt she could relax and she would then go to sleep.
I'm hoping your cat was not hurfing all over the carpet in the meantime.
No, she was a good girl. Most of the time there was somebody around her. The few times she was alone for some hours alone, she'd get upset. One time we were gone at a wedding and then reception for most of the day. When we got home, she was waiting in the kitchen, and she meowed over and over, admonishing us. When my brother had to travel for his job, his cats would punish him when he got home by avoiding him for a full day.
Not sure. Didn't eat much yesterday. My sister brought me handdipped chocolate covered strawberries she'd made, and I wonder if somewhere in the handling contamination was introduced. Because other than those and some movie popcorn (I went and saw Dark Knight), I didn't eat anything in the period of potential poisoning.
I'm upright and experimenting a small sip of water now. My stomach is not happy with it, but has not yet insisted on evacuation, so I wait another 15 minutes and try a second one.
I got a few hours, thanks. I'm now sitting here with a digestive tract that's saying, "I'm not done with you yet." The one sip of water I just took is getting close to a return trip, I fear. Grr.
Generally when my body makes the decision, I don't have any choice.

I become a pathetic wreck when I'm sick.
So, *hugs* to you in your sickness and I wish you much comfort watching.
Okay, your icon made me laugh, which was not particularly helpful to my stomach but balm to my soul. It is stealable?

I'm upright, but weak and still on the edge of sick. But better than last night. Which is not saying a lot....

If I had to call on people, yes. I've mostly been hanging out being semi-conscious.
Ucch, poor dear (pat pat). When I was doing physical training I yoosta eat a lot of one-minute eggs; I got so accustomed to salmonella it wasn't any worse than a mild dose of Milk of Magnesia.
Being highly allergy-prone, I think my tolerance has gone the other way over the years.
I would stay up with you.
I love you.
I know you would. I love you for that. But I wouldn't want you to. Because I love you.
Instead, I would just curl up next to you, shivering in misery, after every trip to the bathroom. Keeping you awake, of course, but not meaning to.
I love you.
Ick, I am so sorry. I always call my mom first thing when I get that sick (not having a husband). I hope you feel better soon. <3
Mom is half a country away.
Well, damn. At least we're all here for you in spirit. <3
I'm so sorry to hear you're sick! Ucky!
My tendency tends to be the sitting-upright-on-the-throne variety, so it's gotten much more tolerable since the advent of wireless internet and a laptop.
Not that I'm doing that *now*
Do you have any crystalized/candied ginger? Or raw ginger you can make tea out of/bags of ginger tea?
I usually keep crystalized ginger on hand for whenever my stomach was off. The last time I had food poisoning, I ate a few pieces and while the icky-stomach feeling took another day and a half to go away, the vomiting stopped. (It works for hangovers too.)
Here's hoping you feel better soon!
