|Weeks 4 and 5 gifts - post LONG overdue

Clarion draws to a close this weekend, but not without further signs of weaselly love bestowed upon me. Neither gift was late; instead, *I* was indolent when it came to posting about the gifts. I can blame part of that on the fastidious disdain my computer bestowed upon my Blackberry for a while, but all is working once again.
Week 4 was a perfectly-timed gift of chocolates from Polidori chocolates.
A dark chocolate fruit-and-nut barque, and amazing milk chocolate turtles, all special ordered and hand-dipped. They were delicious!
It's embarrassing to admit, but when my sister was coming over I hid them so I wouldn't have to share.
Monday of Week 5 began without a package, but I figured it could be a day late. In the evening I went to bec76's house for some belly dancing. As I came through the door, she threw her hands in the air and yelled, "Surprise! I'm Week 5!"
To which I just stared in confusion. I was caught completely off guard. Then I realized: Becky is the one who hennaed Ferrett's hand (along with many other gorgeous designs that night) before he left for Clarion. I had wanted henna, but the evening got too late. Now I was going to get it!
I sat down with pages of design suggestions and tried to decide what I wanted. I finally chose a traditional Indian frame piece, but asked Becky if she could possibly fill it with a totemic Raven. Fortunately, she is a cultural anthropologist, so we quickly found a design that pleased me. Then she went to work on my left forearm:
I absolutely love the design, and here, a week and a half later, it is still in lovely shape.
Thank you both for the lovely work!
