Your moment of surreal for the day [Nov. 11th, 2008|08:11 am]
Zoethe
[Current Mood |weirdbizarre]

Last night I dreamed that the world had lost its ability to write words. And I was working in the Obama White House, trying to craft some kind of treaty language in the only form of writing left to the world:

On the front of a refrigerator. With magnetic poetry.

You win. For my dreams are not that bizarre.

But did you have the LOLCat set or the Shakespeare set?

I don't remember what set, but I did have a large staff searching through words and the ability to supplement them with a few of those magnetic alphabet letters that people put on their fridges for their kids.

did it include the erotic magnetic poetry set on the fridge? that could make for an interesting treaty!

(this is the most awesome thing I've read this morning.)

and I just want to reiterate for the record - this is THE.MOST.AWESOME.THING I have seen this morning :D I keep coming back and reading it for the sheer joy of it.

My dream was bizarre but not as much fun.

autographedcat has the entire back of their front door covered in magnetic poetry. I am now tempted to try to write some sort of policy decision with it the next time I'm in Atlanta. :P

Usually I just play with the dirty ones. ;)

I have never gotten out the erotic ones. We took our magnetic poetry off the old fridge when it cacked, and never put it on the new one.

Alas, I don't think that's the cause. It was amusing, because it was so serious.

hrm...trying to cobble together a speech using magnetic poetry? Did the last 8 years give you the impression that that's how Presidential announcements were crafted?

[thinking....]

No. There are far too many big words in magnetic poetry for the last eight years.
