So, after the crazy weekend of crazy, when the Palimpsest circus pulled out of town Tuesday afternoon, Erin was still here for another day-and-a-half of spring breakiness. Which was awesome to have her around for just some time for us. Tuesday evening, when the Magic: the Gathering crew arrived, she and I retreated to the back and watched episodes of Top Gear on her laptop.
Wednesday, we all hung out and watched more Top Gear. Yesterday, she left about 11:30, and then bec76 came over to hang out for a while, and then xhollydayx came so that we could begin our new venture into bellydance lessons from Bec - yay! Then zodarzone arrived to pick up Bec after lessons, and we got to talking, and somehow there were plans for Indian food, to be picked up by Holly's husband, Nathan (cynic51) and a watching of Wall-e.
And it was all terrific fun, and we got to show them Burn-e, the bonus short on the Wall-e disk, which is hysterical, and much visiting, and it was hovering around 11pm when they were gathering up there stuff and getting ready to leave.
And all of the sudden, my people tolerance hit "full saturation, NO MORE PEOPLE!!!" And so did Ferrett's. He put it best, when we discussed potential activities for Saturday:
"I want to stay in my cave and if anyone tries to drag me out I'm going to scream and scream and scream."
Yeah, it's cave time. I'm not even responding to Ferrett's friending frenzy - no more new peoples!!!!
Fortunately, my need for cave time is relatively limited. I have a full day scheduled Sunday, and I will be fine by then. But today and tomorrow? It's us two primates in our cave. Those attempting to breach it shall be met with clubs and thrown feces.
