Oh how I needed that this morning! That was ten kinds of awesome. Thank you so much!
Some year you should come to the sing-along Sound of Music at the Castro Theater in San Francisco! Costume contests! Stuff to wave in the air! On screen lyrics!
I have seen pictures - it looks like tremendous fun.
It does brighten the day.
tee hee. That is pretty rockin'.
I love all the kids that were involved - such fun.
Thanks. This made my day!

Mine, too, which is why I had to share.
That brought me so much joy this morning!
It is made of joy and awesome.
I am sitting here with tears streaming down my face. Maybe it's my love of The Sound of Music, or all musicals. Maybe it's the surge of artistic creativity on display. Maybe it's that little spark it ignites assuring us that no, humanity is not dead and you can find happiness in the mundane. Or perhaps I'm just a sap. Or all of the above.
In any event, thank you for sharing this, I loved it. ♥
I'm lazy, I'm just going to say "ditto". Stupid Tears.

I was going to link to that - both of these make me weepy with joy.
Thank you! It made me cry too. I loved the "ordinary people" joining in, too.
I will smile all day now. (at least I hope so!)
That was AWESOME!
I loved that so many actual audience members were getting into it, too! So very wonderful! Would have LOVED to have been there!
Totally reposting it to my blog today!
I'm glad that, through the wonder of YouTube, we can all share!
Love it. Love it. I love the Sound of Music and will have to watch it today now.
I have sort of a tenuous relationship with Sound of Music, but that definitely made me smile (and cry a bit). X3
It is most squee-lishious.
Oh, that was awesome. Was it an Improv Everywhere-type flash mob?
It was rehearsed to be done in flash mob style, but considering that they were broadcasting over the sound system, they clearly had made arrangements with the station.
