WEll....

So, I spent the night being super bad.

This is not Superbad, as in a cute if juvenile Judd Apatow movie. No, this is just being super bad, as in being way old enough to know better and yet somehow farting around on the internet until WTF-o'clock and THEN firing up the XBox to play Dragon Age.

It's 7:15 in the morning. What I'm going to do after this entry does not deserve to be called "going to bed." It's merely "taking a nap."

That being said, I have glanced out the window at our car several times this and scoffed at weathermen. The car is barren, bereft of snow. So much for Flurricanes.

Just now I happened to glance out the back bedroom window. At the four foot drift in front of the garage.

And I remembered back to Groundhog Day, when rodents saw their shadows but a friend of mine claimed that, despite this tradition,. winter was over and we were on our way into spring.

Whoever it was: see what happens when you throw down the gauntlet in front of mother nature>

Just about a week ago we had a similar "non-storm". This was the storm that was BURYING Wash. D.C, for the second time, then was moving right up the coast to Boston. Boston and 100's of surrounding towns canceled school or announced early dismissal, companies were planning early let-outs, etc.

We got.....1 1/2 inches. Hardly enough to bother wearing boots.

The storm apparently stalled over New York and spent itself there.

We've definitely gotten more than that. Good to be able to stay home.

Nothing wrong with being super bad once in a while - in fact, I highly recommend it! Funny thing, you'll probably be okay today, and then it will really hit you tomorrow.

Snowing here in Pittsburgh too. I'm guessing about 3 very blown-around inches so far, and more to come through the day. It's nice and fluffy, though.

I am a little punchy today, but I did need just to be bad for a while.

We've got a fair amount of snow out there now, and it's still coming down.

Clearly you have to get rid of all video games, as well as your television. :)

Now I don't feel so bad about playing angband last night until 1 am. I of course should have been studying or working on that paper that I have due on monday.

Maybe we have a sickness that is catching?

I need to go throw something at whoever said that. I am so tired of winter.

Also at my friends who complained that November through early January were far too mild for Ann Arbor winters. I'm blaming them if we still have snow at graduation in May.
