Well, there's your problem [Nov. 1st, 2011|11:05 pm]
Zoethe
Have just been beset by screaming headache, and have had back-to-back coughing fits strong enough to make me throw up.

This may be a contributing factor in my depression.

(And to think, I was just congratulating myself on avoiding Con Crud this time around....)

erk.

neti pot, can you use a neti pot? because post nasal drip can be a nasty factor in that..

and yes onset of illness = flare in my depression also

Still only in the chest, plus muscle aches. I should acquire a neti pot, though. I've heard good things.

mucinex?

neti pots take a bit of practice but are very useful.

I'm sorry for all your pain and distress, but I congratulate you on evoking the image of a grease-stained mechanic looking into your throat during a coughing fit and wiping off his hands on a grimy rag while offering his diagnosis. Which is probably that you need your carburetor replaced.

For me it's now Jamie Hyneman and Mythbusters. But my carburetor is definitely clogged.

The double whammy of a con and air travel should leave me resigned to some sort of crud, yet I am dismayed every single time.

Not surprised, just dismayed.

Awwww. *pets* Headaches are NO fun (fighting one of my own at the moment...must remember weight-loss = lightweight where alcohol is concerned, I did NOT need that second sangria last night).

Hydrate! Hydrate! It's the key to avoiding hangovers.

My sympathies. We forgot for the first time in years to take our humidifier to OVFF with us. Guess who got sick the following week?

(I highly highly recommend running a humidifier 24/7 in a hotel, especially at a convention. It is an amazing deterrent to con crud.)

Feel better soon!

ooh yes. i have food allergies, and hypoglycemia. plus i merchant.

the smell of fresh bread wafting out of a room is a bit of a shopping incentive...

anyway...
it makes sure i have food for me. i only do that to events i am at for a long time, otherwise its not worth it.
Zojirushi bread machine RULES
100% whole wheat and grain or multi grain bread with flax seed meal instead of butter
