Update--Good news and hair-tearing stress [Jan. 20th, 2013|11:09 pm]
Zoethe
I am suffering social media burnout. I spent the evening preparing for the 4 - yes, FOUR - new clients who stuck with me throughout many appointment changes and crises and who did the work they needed to, and whose cases I ALL have to file tomorrow. Ferrett is doing well and may get to come home tomorrow, a trip that, thanks to having to take care of 4 clients tomorrow, will in no way include my involvement--not stressful at ALL, that.

Just like the clients managed to get their work done, Ferrett will manage to get home, and the important part is that you be there for the bits only you can do. You can't do everything for everyone, and trying won't end well. You're a lawyer - you know that. :)

Hard to believe it's only been six days since surgery. Such a whirlwind. It's tough dealing with clients when you know you want to be elsewhere. But you'll be armed with the knowledge that he's doing really well. Hang in there, Superwoman. You've got this.

I'm so glad things are going so well in the recovery department. Though all my health crises, I've learned that allowing people to help me when I've needed help is somethings doing a service to them. I'm FINALLY blogging about my experiences...give a read if you can find 5 minutes.

You can do this. Breathe in red. Breathe out blue...

All due respect to my own curiosity and good wishes, but I think social media is probably at the top of the list of things to cut when you get overwhelmed.

Best wishes to you, Ferrett, and your clients. We'll be here when you've got "spare" time.

Was wondering - you have my number? Want it? You can't scare me or nothing - I'm right here if you need me.

You're stressed, sure. But you know what? You're doing just fine. You're okay, hon.
