|This is how my day started:
||[Jul. 18th, 2013|01:47 pm]
Brain: I'm awake! Let's go!!
Body: Whoa! We've only slept 5 hours!
Brain: I'm ready to go! Go go go!!
Body: Look, have a book. Read for a few minutes to settle back down.
Brain: Yay! Books! I love books!
Body: Just a few minutes now. 10 or 15?
Body: Well, the alarm is going off in 5 minutes, so we might as wel--
Brain: Wow, I'm really tired now. I wanna go back to sleep.
Body: ... I will cut you.
Gee, that sounds familiar!!
Geeze that sounds like a page out of my life!
hahahaha that happens to me daily
See, I just have inexplicably stressful dreams that wake me at 4:30, then the cat wants attention...
There was absolutely nothing stressful going on. I was just awake.
My brain has taken up this awkward habit of waking me at stupid o'clock with Important Insights that it is very keen that I get up and write down...
Is it worth keeping a pen and some paper by the bed, so you can write the insight down, then promptly go back to sleep?
This is my life for 2013. Haven't had uninterrupted sleep awaking to the alarm all this year.
Maybe you don't want to be on the same road I am.
Oh my god this is SO familiar! I wonder if perimenopausal hormones have anything to do with it.
