|Summarizing a lazy day
||[Aug. 2nd, 2003|11:03 pm]
So, in the course of my very lazy, do nothing day I :
* Did three loads of laundry;
* Cleaned up the kitchen and living room;
* Cleaned the pond filter (a very messy job involving dead wildlife this time around);
* Weeded one of the garden beds;
* Cooked a nice dinner;
* Cleaned the kitchen afterwards.
I still don't think I quite have this "kicking back" thing tackled....
Oh, wow. I want one of you! :D
LOL! That's one way of looking at it, I suppose!
After peeking at your journal, I've added you to my friends list because you seem really interesting. Hope you don't mind.
Hee! With a compliment like that, how could I mind being friended? I don't normally mind in the first place, but now I feel all complimented :)
<---- laugh's her rear off (know the feeling!)
oh look at that sink of dirty dishes AND WALK OUT CLOSING THE DOOR BEHIND YOU
gee, dinner would be nice (who want's want, I'm ordering Chinese!!)
hmmm, garden needs work (cloths drapes)
now, with drink of choice firmly in hand turn on a favorite movie and SIT.
(yeah, I'm still a work in progress on all this too - hangs head while finishes cooking batch of ribs, crab cakes and folds laundry!! )
It's tough duty. I am much more comfortable doing nothing when everything is done already [g].
I think I do have to designate one weekend day a month for absolutely nothing, though. I am feeling refreshed.
Still don't want to go back to work, of course, but feeling refreshed.
