Lost evening [Apr. 22nd, 2006|07:37 am]
[Current Mood |sleepysleepy]

Got home from work at about 6pm yesterday, and realized that I needed to make a trip to the grocery store if I was having any dinner (Ferrett being out of town for the weekend). Talked with Ferrett on the phone for a little while, Around 6:30, went into the bedroom to change my clothes, and once I was out of the work clothes decided to lie down for just a minute.

Woke up at 11:30.

Went to the bathroom, pulled on a nightshirt, crawled back into bed sort of resigned that I'd probably really messed up my sleep for the evening and I'd be getting up for half the night....

Woke up at 7am, but only because the alarm went off.

Maybe a little exhaustion going on here? If I didn't have that paper to research and write, I'm not at all certain I would have gotten out of bed then.

Hoo boy. I can relate to that. Yep, your body is telling you something!

good for you!

It sounds like you really needed that sleep, more so than anything else.

Glad you sleeped. All you missed were some storms, nothing even really interesting. Now it's going to be such a dreary grey day that your paper will be something absolutely fascinating and gets itself done easily ... perfect!

I do recall, now that you mention it, half-waking to the sound of thunder - but clearly not disturbed enough to have remembered it on my own.

And I had a lengthy dream about riding a horse with my daughters (who were very young in the dream). It was nice and peaceful.

you probably needed that much rest, which is good because you can replenish the body and not get sick!....good luck on your paper
