I have now lost all my NaNo advantage. Only a smattering of words on Monday, and none yesterday because friends came over in the evening and stayed late. It was wonderful visiting with them - we got to break out the celebratory champagne that has been sitting in my fridge - but did nothing for my word count. I was going to get up and write this morning, but I was exhausted and slept in instead. So, no exercise and no NaNo this morning.|
There WILL be writing this evening.
And why are my custom filters continually missing, as well as the ability to post to groups? This is all highly frustrating.
I'm at 4400 words and have a lovely case of writer's block. One of these years, I'll finish. Maybe.
Just as an aside, I emptied my cache and now my custom filters are functional again.
Hmm. I will have to try that.
I was going to get up and write this morning, but I was exhausted and slept in instead.
Hmm, sounds like the excuses I use when I don't want to get up and exercise in the morning. "Too tired, can't do it."
You can do it Gini! Whoo!!! GO YOU!!!
Okay, a little over the top there, sorry about that. Seriously though, I want to see you beat this thing. You're my inspiration. ;)
Oh, and since I didn't say it before? Congratulations! Heh, now you're with the ranks of those like Bill S. Preston, Esq.!
Late commenting. I don't intend to do NaNo (although I am writing a "Secret Santa story for my fandom, but only 10,000 words), so I didn't ask to be put on the filter. But I'm enjoying seeing what everyone says about it, so please add me to the filter.
Also, I didn't say it before -- CONGRATULATIONS!!! on passing the bar. Way to go, and Whoo-HOO! (So what's the official title? I'm clueless.)
Mostly, the official title is, "Working late." Some people insist on using the "John Q. Dick, Esq." but that seems a bit much to me.
Goddess will suffice.
(And you are on the filter now, such as it is.)
Hm. In case you get your filters working again, I think I'd like to be added to the NaNo filter, please! I'm not participating, but it may serve as thesis-writing encouragement, which I can definitely use...
In the meantime, good luck with being productive! :-)
Misery loves company, so I'm happy to add you!
(Smacks Zoethe with a Word Bunny) Write dammit, write!!
