|A Christmas Ho Ho for you all

Merry Christmas from sunny California. Amy is dressing to try out her skateboard. We attended Christmas vigil at Ferrett's mom's church last night. (The debate about this was quite short: Amy: Why should I go to her church? I'm not Catholic! Gini: Hey, I'm going and I'm not even Christian!) In typical McJuddmetz fashion, we first drew quizzical looks by actually singing, rather than mumbling as low as possible. Then we started singing harmonies and counter parts, and the quizzical looks turned happy as people joined us. Pagan or no, I loves me some Hark, the Herald Angels Sing and Joy to the World.
After church, we came home to make dinner and then open gifts. Ferrett's mom got me two gorgeous necklaces that I had seen in someone's journal and mentioned to Ferrett, and my sweet baboo supplemented the iPhone with Mama Mia and the first season of Torchwood, along with a few other goodies.
Now we are waiting for Ferrett's stepsister and her family to arrive. There is a deep-fried turkey adventure in the offing, and a long walk in the sunshine.
Wishing you all a happy day and much love.
