Okay, now it's getting freaky [Jan. 14th, 2010|12:31 pm]

[Current Mood |confusedbaffled]

Last week I wrote about how the Roomba was offering tribute. Ferrett ran it over the weekend while I was gone and it didn't produce any cash, so I figured this amusing feature was temporary.

Maybe not.

Today *I* started Opposite Cat on its cleaning way. When its cycle was finished, it coughed up a $1 bill, a $10 bill, and a check for $25 from Ferrett's grandmother.

Keep in mind that this is the same room where it's been run before, that no one has come to visit us in the passing days, and that we had picked up around the room to make sure that nothing would clog the Roomba. And yet here I sit with further tribute at my right hand. Apparently Opposite Cat brings tribute only to me.

Tell me that's not weird.

Next time you visit, can you bring your Roomba? ;)

No. The Golden Goose will be carefully fostered in its natural environment. ;-)

I tell ya, you hit Roomba gold when you bought that one. Mine STILL hasn't brought me anything other than dust. ^_^

Opposite Cat can't find any mice or snakes to bring to you and brag about its hunting abilities so he goes for the second-best (in its mind) thing.

It's also apparently been sprinkled with fortune dust!

(btw, this post made me smile)

Definitely preferable to mice and snakes.

Man, I wish I hadn't sold my Roomba! I probably would have kept it if it paid for itself like yours.

What date is on the cheque? Did she ever actually get around to posting it? Or has it materialised from an alternate reality?

Okay, it's official, we need one of these... if only to counter the Traditional Cats' vet bills.

Next time we're over, just ignore the big lump under my jacket when we leave. It's just a tumor.

Fallcon always told me that when he found a dime, it was goddess telling him he was loved. the day we found out we got the house, we found dimes scattered all around my car.

now that he's passed i keep finding dimes. in the house. where none should be.

i'm glad opposite cat loves you, too.

I'd get a Rhoomba but I'm afraid that instead of bringing me tribute it would choke and die on the dog hair.

Still, a little tribute could bright anybody's day I suppose.
