Touring the World [Jul. 29th, 2010|09:00 am]

It's our last full Disney day. Considering that after the first full Disney day I was so gobsmacked and exhausted that I couldn't believe it had only been one day, I'm kind of amazed to find us at the end of the vacation.

We are spending the day at Epcot. Ferrett and I have this in common: it's our favorite park. We've done the bulk of the rides, though will return to Soaring, but mostly we will be wandering in the world section, checking out the shops and taking it easy.

It's been a terrific trip, despite the occasional communication glitch. But wow am I glad we get back on Friday and have a weekend to recover. I'll be glad to have an actual keyboard, too, and to be able to catch up on my flist a bit.

Time for breakfast!

I *heart* Epcot, and the World in particular. I can't think of a better way to spend the closing day of a trip to Orlando. Have fun!

Coming back from vacation a day or two early to recover is the best vacation technology I have yet discovered. My sweetie and I make this our habit whenever we can.

Epcot is a funny thing, in my mind. I remember being quite disappointed the first time I went (opening year), and yet I found it so charming in retrospect that I ended up going back the following year. I guess my expectations prior to the first visit were just way off, and once I adjusted them, I found I liked the place.

Be sure to stop in the French area and get a silhouette done! They do the really cool old school paper cutting ones, and they're wicked neat. :)

Did not see this early enough. But we had a grand time anyway.
