As  neorxnawang recalls today, the one good thing about working for the OPB was the annual trip. Vegas the first year, Cancun (which I missed) the second.
I'm about to leave for the TSH outing. We're going to the zoo!
Not that the zoo isn't fun. But it is quite the contrast.... |

Seriously, some of my fondest memories were of the zoo outings that Jean and I took when we were together, snapping pics of the animals, taking easy strolls. Heh--and that woman is a walking animal encyclopedia--she makes ANY zoo trip 1000 times better with her running commentary.
I miss that. Yeah, the zoo is special.
