Is it me, or does it look extraterrestrial? :-)
CONGRATULATIONS! I remember you writing about this oven a while back! I'm so happy for you!
I'm absolutely giddy to finally be getting it!
In all my years I've never bought a range, just lived with the ones that were present. It's SO amazing to me!
I know! A major appliance of my own choosing!!!
Dude, I was so excited when I got my new stove a couple of years ago and it was just a run of the mill ceramic top electric range. I can imagine how excited you are with this sweetness coming!
I stuck with an elderly and semi-broken one for a while so that I could get what I really wanted.
Smart! We don't cook enough to get crazy about stoves, but just you wait until my washer needs replacing. ~_^
I feel guilty because I haven't been cooking much lately, but I do, and I will!
You get to live in England, so I has envy. It evens out. ;-)
Thank you! I'm delighted!!
Woo! Très pretty indeed. What colour is your kitchen?
It will be purple, by the time we're done. At least that is the plan right now.
Of course, I had to mouse over everywhere to magnify it! :D I like the knobs, how they have a red dot to show which burner they go to, because I've had mine for many years and I still forget which is which sometimes.
Isn't it amazing how that happens???
I have so much envy. Or jealousy. Whichever is the one where I want what you have, but I want you to have it too.
I am very happy. It's the first time in my life I get to actually do this.

Very happy for you, and as I said elsewhere, jealous of anyone who has a gas range, much less an uber-cool one like that. Enjoy the cooking, enjoy the eating, enjoy the shiny coolness. Most of all, enjoy the love that goes into feeding yourselves.
I feel bad for anyone stuck with electric cooking. We will definitely enjoy, and if you're ever in Cleveland, I'll cook for you!

I don't know that my travels will ever take me to Cleveland, but I'm honored by the offer, and hope someday I can accept it.
And don't feel too bad for me, as my electric range is sort of a self-imposed exile. I could replace it with gas, but that would lead me down the slippery slope to a full-on kitchen remodel, so I forbear.
I can understand the hesitation. I won't even try to Borg you into joining us. ;-)
Wheeee! The kitchen gets so much use that overhauls there will get to be enjoyed on a daily basis :)
It definitely will make it more appealing to be in there, I'm very excited!
