You want to know how effective they were?
At 4:00, 38 minutes after I'd written that post, I thought I have two hours before I have to leave for my monthly lawyers meeting. Can I get anything done in two hours?
And here's what I got done:
*Unpacked from the con
*Sorted the massive stack of mail
*Decluttered the kitchen and dining room
*Cleaned the kitchen and started a load of dishes
*Started two loads of laundry
*Vacuumed the living room
That's all while still feeling rather like crap. But at least I don't feel surrounded by crap as well.
My former plan was to sit here in a funk until I left for dinner, then come home and try to get this much work done late in the evening, which would have messed up my sleep for tomorrow. Instead, I will come home and go to bed at a decent hour, thereby getting myself back on schedule and, I'm hoping, back on track to feeling better.
