Ferrett is looking and feeling much better. They will be moving him out of ICU tomorrow morning.|
Thanks for keeping us updated!
I've been thinking good thoughts for you both all day. Thank you for the updates! :)
Yay! I'm so relieved! I hope that the roller coaster ride will be leveling out for you soon - hang in there. *hugs*
I'm a lurker on Ferrett's journal (went to one of his panels at WorldCon and went up afterwards to chat :)) and have been following closely... I'm so, so pleased that he's come through this so well. I'm sending healing wishes his way (and yours).

That's wonderful news! Healing does take time and can't (or at least oughtn't) be rushed, but getting out of the ICU is a major milestone.
Oh thank goodness. I've been keeping my fingers crossed tightly, and this a very good sign.
Care package items have been procured. Just have to figure out when to go to the post office :D Nothing edible so no worries!
I am glad Ferret continues his recovery. In 2003 my husband had a bypass, and his recovery was slow and steady. After a bit they wanted him to take little walks. I went with him, and those were the sweetest walks. The hospital volunteers gave him a heart-shaped pillow to hug when he coughed, and he still sleeps with that pillow almost ten years later.
So hang in there; you can do this together. Sending love and healing thoughts.
I hope you both rest well tonight.
Out of the ICU? Excellent goal. Then he can start complaining about the Jello.
That is fantastic! Glad to hear he made it through and is recovering well.
Thank you for keeping us updated.
Yikes! I just got caught up on LJ and saw all of this for the first time. I am glad to hear he is on the mend! You are both in my thoughts, I hope he makes a rapid, but more importantly, complete recovery.
Right behind Volta -- I'm just catching up. Good, good good ... caught it early, triple CABG, only a couple days in ICU? He's doing great. Young(ish) and strong, came through in good form. Excellent! Looking forward to hearing the 'out of bed and sitting in a chair' report in a day or two. ::grin:: THEN looking forward to hearing the complaints about the food, cause that's a sure sign it's time to send 'em home!
I'm on call this weekend. Will stop by if time/caseload allows.
